Zero Knowledge Network®: prove what’s true—without seeing the data.

Journey applies Zero Knowledge® security to real customer interactions—so sensitive inputs can be verified and acted on while staying hidden from agents, AI, contact center platforms, and recordings.

What “Zero Knowledge®” means at Journey.

In simple terms, Zero Knowledge® lets you verify that something is true—without revealing the underlying data.

In a contact center context:

The agent doesn’t need to see a Social Security number to know it’s valid.

An AI agent doesn’t need raw card data to know a payment succeeded.

Your platform doesn’t need PHI in logs to complete an intake workflow.

Journey delivers proof, certificates, and results—without exposing the sensitive inputs.

What the Agent/AI Sees

Results-only workflows.

When a customer completes a sensitive step using Journey, the workflow returns:

  • Pass / fail outcomes
  • Match / no match signals
  • Transaction status + confirmation
  • Tokens, receipts, or certificates (as applicable)
  • Progress + completion signals (for better CX and recovery)

What it does NOT return:

  • Raw PII/PFI/PHI/PCI inputs
  • Secrets that create downstream scope and risk
  • Your workflows move forward with certainty—without disclosure.

How it works

A network designed to minimize exposure by design.

Journey’s Zero Knowledge Network® is built around a simple principle:
Sensitive data should only be accessible to the parties that truly need it.

At a high level:

  1. The workflow is invoked by an agent, IVR/IVA, or AI agent (API or MCP).
  2. The customer completes the sensitive step on their device.
  3. A unique single-use cryptographic key-pair is generated in real time for that field of data and the pre-determined end point.
  4. Only verified results and proof artifacts flow back to the invoking system.

Why Zero Knowledge® beats “collect and redact later.”

Redaction assumes customer privacy must be broken as a means to an end. Zero Knowledge® rejects that assumption.

When you avoid collecting sensitive inputs in-band, you reduce exposure across:

  •  Call recordings and transcripts
  • Agent desktops
  • Bot logs and analytics pipelines
  • AI prompts, context windows, and tool traces
  • Compliance scope, audits, and breach blast radius

The outcome:

More regulated workflows become safe to automate.

Patented foundation. Built to last.

Journey’s Zero Knowledge Network® is supported by a deep patent portfolio focused on encrypted exchange, device trust, orchestration, and results-only proof patterns.

We share the “what” and “why” publicly—and keep implementation details protected.

Want to see a Zero Knowledge® workflow in action?

We’ll demo a real, regulated use case (payments, authentication, documents, or a multi-step custom flow) and show what the agent or AI receives—without revealing what they don’t need.
